What makes 1-on-1 coaching (in-person and virtual training) with Derek Carter different?

  1. Experience: I have over 27 years of experience. I'm 50 years young so I understand the age-related challenges my clients have and more importantly, know how to resolve them.
  2. Education: I have a degree in Kinesiology and have several personal training certifications including CSCS (the most respected certification in the industry).
  3. Exercise Coaching: You'll be performing exercises that are appropriate for your fitness level and goals.
  4. Nutrition Coaching: I'll provide advise based on your current eating habits and preferences. I don't do "1-size-fits-all" regimens.

Do you offer a free session?

Yes I do! Both in-person and virtually. During this 45-minute session, you'll be guided through some movements that will allow me to better understand your fitness level, strengths and possible limitations.

How can you help me be more accountable?

Our accountability system includes, text support, coaching calls and check-ins.

What dietary changes will you recommend?

My recommendations will depend on your current eating habits. Once I know what you eat on the average day, I'll be able to make some suggestions.
